Preschoolers remain in their Sunday School classes for worship. Volunteers arrive in the class by 10 am and serve on a rotation and provide Bible stories, activities, and a snack. Parents are required to pick up their children at the conclusion of the worship service.
Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
Children are escorted from their Sunday school classes down to the Veggie Tales .Worship (Room 105), where they enjoy an age-appropriate lesson incorporating puppets, crafts, and, of course, the Veggie Tales characters! Parents are required to pick up their children in Room 105 immediately following the conclusion of the morning worship service.
3rd- 5th Grade
After Sunday school, children will accompany their parents to the sancutary for the start of the worship service. At a designated time during the service, the children are escorted from the sanctuary to Room 122 for a lesson that will help them better understand the Bible and use the scriptures in everyday life. Parents may pick up their children in Room 122 immediately following the conclusion of the morning service.
The 4th Sunday of every month will be a family worship service. All grades (K – 5th grade) will worship together with their families in the sanctuary. Family worship services often incorporate the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, so that parents may have an opportunity to teach their children about it during the service.
